To ensure optimal healing, reduce the risk of complications, and achieve the best possible results, please follow the aftercare advice below carefully.

EXPECTED SIDE EFFECTS

  • The treated area may feel warm, tender, red, and swollen after the procedure. These effects typically improve within 48 hours but may take longer to fully settle.

  • Minor bruising may occur, which can take 1–2 weeks to resolve in some cases.

  • Lumps and bumps are normal and usually disperse naturally within 48 hours.

AFTER 24 HOURS

Apply a cold compress to reduce swelling and use arnica cream to help with bruising.
Regularly apply a moisturising cream (2–3 times daily) to keep the treated area hydrated. Use more frequently if your skin feels dry or starts peeling.
Wear SPF 30 or greater sunscreen for at least 2 weeks following treatment to protect the skin from sun sensitivity.

AVOID THE FOLLOWING

  • For 24 Hours: Avoid wetting, rubbing, or picking the treated area.

  • For 72 Hours: Avoid skin exfoliation, perfumes, fake tan, or harsh chemicals on the treated skin.

  • For 24 Hours: Avoid wearing makeup to reduce the risk of infection.

  • For 72 Hours: Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, sunbeds, exposure to heat, and swimming, as sweating can irritate the skin and slow healing.

  • For 48 Hours: Avoid excess alcohol and caffeine, which may impact healing.

  • For 7 Days: Avoid products containing alpha hydroxy acids (AHA), retinol, and glycolic acid.

  • For 2 Weeks: Avoid cosmetic treatments (e.g., Botox, dermal fillers) and hair removal treatments (e.g., waxing) until redness and swelling have resolved.
