Following your massage therapy session, it is important to follow these aftercare guidelines to maximise benefits, prevent discomfort, and support your body’s natural healing process.

POST-TREATMENT CARE

  • Stay Hydrated – Drink plenty of water to help flush out toxins and stay hydrated.

  • Avoid Alcohol & Caffeine – Refrain from consuming alcohol or caffeinated drinks for 12 hours, as they may contribute to dehydration.

  • Rest & Relax – Avoid any strenuous exercise or exhausting activity for 12 hours to allow your body to fully relax and recover.

  • Skip the Hot Bath – Avoid hot baths for 24 hours, as they may intensify soreness or dehydration.

  • Limit UV Exposure – Avoid sunbeds and UV light for 48 hours to protect your skin.

  • Manage Any Muscle Aches – If you experience mild soreness or headaches after your massage, you may take paracetamol or ibuprofen (if medically safe for you).
