Following laser hair removal, proper aftercare is essential to reduce risks, improve healing, and achieve the best possible results. Please follow the guidelines below carefully.

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER TREATMENT

The treated skin may feel tender, red, or swollen—similar to mild sunburn.
Occasional blistering, minor bruising, or crusting may occur but should heal naturally within 48 hours to 2 weeks.
If you are concerned at any stage, contact your practitioner immediately.

AFTERCARE GUIDELINES

DO:

Keep the area clean and dry for 48 hours after treatment.
Apply a cold pack to reduce discomfort or irritation.
Use aloe vera gel for 3 days to soothe the skin. A gentle moisturising cream is also beneficial.
Wear loose clothing to avoid friction on the treated area for 48 hours.
Wear SPF 50+ sunscreen for at least 2 weeks post-treatment to protect sensitive skin.
Attend all follow-up appointments to monitor healing and plan future sessions.

AVOID:

Perfumes, fake tan, or harsh chemicals for 72 hours after treatment.
Makeup on the treated area for 48 hours (to prevent infection).
Rubbing, picking, or scratching the treated area—especially if scabbing or blistering occurs.
Shaving for 72 hours after treatment.
Waxing, tweezing, or threading for the entire duration of your treatment course.
Exfoliating the skin for 72 hours post-treatment.
Using products with AHA, retinol, or glycolic acid for at least 7 days.
Strenuous exercise, saunas, hot showers, sunbeds, or heat exposure for 72 hours.
Swimming for 72 hours after treatment.
Consuming excessive alcohol or caffeine for 48 hours, as they can slow healing.

WHEN TO SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION
